About Us
We are a team of individuals who enjoy travelling for our interests and strongly believe that travel has to be more than just visiting destinations and sites. Each one of us enjoys a little educational element to all the fun of travel which helps us develop our hobbies while on vacation. Every destination or site can be seen from a different perspective depending on your interest area.
At Discovering Landscapes, we plan theme/interest-based programs. We encourage guest experiences to be led by experts be it photographers, artists, historians, architects, culinary experts or experts in any other field should the guests have the budget for it. For us, this interactive and educational element is often as important an element of luxury as the luxury hotels, cars, or private charter flights to a luxury experience. Thus all our itineraries and programs are always 'tailor-made' to guest interests.
We do try and introduce new elements to traveling in the regions we promote through our Fixed Departure programs.
Mission
It is our mission that travel within the subcontinent is more responsible as well as sustainable. There is so much culture as well as wildlife lost on a daily basis as it doesn't always lead to financial gains by the local community of the region. Only by showcasing the diversity and by involving the locals can be assured that traditions, customs & various forms of traditional arts & crafts survive the massive westernization of our nation. Conservation too is only possible if people see financial value in the same. Without this support, the forests and jungles will be lost as people seek better opportunities and in doing so destroy our natural habitats.
Vision
We continue in our endeavors to put like-minded people together when they travel as we believe this is the most enriching form of interaction that one can enjoy while traveling. In our experience, it almost always showcases a unique perspective of each site or destination.
